Feist Performs 1,2,3,4 on Sesame Street
par Julien Denhez 18 juillet 2008For the premiere of Sesame Street’s 39th season (OMG) Feist will be performing her song 1,2,3,4 except that it’s going to be geared toward kids and counting. I know, I know, the song is totally played out, but it’s so damn cute when it’s on Sesame Street. My favorite part of the whole video is the penguins that are by the door, and then at the end when they sing the bah bah bah bah part, except the chickens are clucking, haha… I think it’s great when contemporary musicians give back to kids like this, I know I’d be super thrilled to hear my son or daughter singing this little song. The episode is set to premiere on August 11th, so if you have kids be sure to plunk them down in front of the TV that day!

KITSUNE NOIR Presents THE DESKTOP WALLPAPER Project

“The Desktop Wallpaper Project is a project based off the of the Radiohead desktop wallpapers I created in 2007 in honor of In Rainbows coming out. But this time around, I decided to write all of my favorite artists and designers, many of which you’ve seen featured on this blog, and see if they’d contribute a wallpaper. As it turns out, my favorite artists and designers happen to be some of the nicest people out there, and so many of them were more than happy to help and be a part of this project.
Here’s the plan: I’ll be releasing one desktop wallpaper every Wednesday morning (California time) until I run out of wallpapers. They’ll be free to download, and come in a multitude of monitor sizes, as well as iPhone and PSP versions just for the fun of it. I hope you enjoy them all!”
